The leading expectation Japanese consumers have for cultured meat and cellular agriculture is that the products will taste delicious as revealed in a survey conducted in June 2021. While 42.6 percent of respondents had high expectations for the taste of food products produced with cellular agriculture like lab-grown meat, only 2.4 percent considered the added value for space travel.
