The United States was the major supplier of arms to Ukraine in 2022, as trade-indicator values (TIV) of Ukrainian arms imports from that country were measured at 917 million TIV in that year. Ranking second was Poland, which accounted for 451 million TIV of arms imports into Ukraine. The TIV is a unit developed by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) based on known unit production costs of core weapons. It is intended to represent the transfer of military resources rather than the financial value of the transfer.

25 countries of origin with the highest total imports from 2018 to 2022 are presented.
TIV (trend-indicator value) is a unit invented by SIPRI. It's used to permit comparison between the data on deliveries of major conventional weapons and to identify general trends.
The TIV is based on the known unit production costs of a core set of weapons and is intended to represent the transfer of military resources rather than the financial value of the transfer.
For further information please refer to the SIPRI explanation of TIV.
