Frequency of internet usage in Tanzania 2021, by area of residence
Around 11 percent of the surveyed population used the internet daily in Tanzania as of 2021. On the other hand, over 70 percent declared never using the web. The frequency of internet use varied according to place of residence. In urban areas, roughly 24 percent of respondents used it every day, against five percent in rural regions.
