Ensuring that user experience in the metaverse is safe and constructive may require censoring or regulating some content. Suicide, animal abuse, hate speech, and harassment had the strongest support for full censorship in the metaverse. Respondents also opined that content related to alcohol and drugs and sexually explicit content should be restricted.
