The use of virtual or augmented reality tools by potential employers in Germany is a rather new and uncommon recruiting method. Nevertheless, this does not seem to be something that would prevent job candidates from applying for work positions. As of 2020, almost 24 percent of job candidates surveyed in Germany believed that the use of these methods during the recruitment process would lend them a more honest image of the potential employer. Furthermore, almost a third of candidates surveyed associated the use of such technologies with getting a more realistic and extensive image of the potential employer.
