In 2020, around 61 percent of Indigenous individuals aged 15 years and older in Canada with a hearing disability reported somewhat or much worse mental health than before the COVID-19 pandemic. This statistic illustrates the percentage of indigenous people in Canada with long-term conditions or disabilities who reported a worsening of mental health since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
