In February 2024, the European Union imported some 761 million cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Qatar. During the period of consideration, import figures fluctuated, peaking in July 2022, at 3.4 billion cubic meters. Qatar is one of the most important suppliers of LNG imports to Europe.
