During the first quarter of 2022, the Corona WarnApp recorded almost five million downloads from users in Germany. This mobile application was launched in June 2020, mainly as a contact tracing app. During its first quarter online, the Corona Warn App saw more than 4.9 million downloads. In the last measured quarter, the CovPass Check app, which is intended to be used to display COVID-19 vaccination status, coronavirus test results, and recovery from the disease, generated 1.82 million downloads.
