In 2020, a survey conducted in the United Kingdom found that almost half of the children aged between 6 and 12 years had experienced swearing or rude language on online video sharing platforms. According to 43 percent of the respondents, they had seen this type of content in songs. One in five said that they had seen something online that made them scared.
