According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Taiwan in November 2023 on consumer holiday shopping behavior, around 74 percent of respondents aged 25 to 34 years answered to shop both on- and offline. In the same age group, around 23 percent of respondents stated to do their holiday shopping exclusively online.

2,417 respondents aged between 16 and 24 years, 3,245 respondents aged between 25 and 34 years, 2,671 respondents aged between 35 and 44 years, 1,526 respondents aged between 45 and 54 years, 651 respondents aged 55 years and above.
