An Arts Council England (ACE) study investigated the gender distribution of the board and management staff in ACE-funded museums in England. According to the analysis, roughly 52 percent of all managers working for the surveyed organizations in England were female. Meanwhile, around 40 percent of board members were male. Overall, 0.3 percent of the surveyed museums' board and management staff identified as non-binary.
