According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Hong Kong in November 2023 on consumer holiday shopping behavior, around 62 percent of respondents between 25 and 34 years old answered that they had spent or planned on spending more money on holiday shopping compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, only about 53 percent of respondents aged below 25 years stated the same.
