Since 2014 the share of enterprises across the European Union (EU-27) that used social networking apps and services increased significantly from 31 percent to 56 percent in 2021. Enterprises in Malta, Norway, and Sweden have the highest share of enterprises making use of social networking. Germany, France, and Spain have a relatively low share of such enterprises with around 53, and 60 percent respectively. This was nevertheless a significant increase since 2014, one that can be seen across most countries.
