Tech startups in Morocco secured a total funding value of over 10.7 million U.S. dollars in 2022. The value dropped significantly compared to the previous year. In 2019, Moroccan tech startups had raised only 617 thousand U.S. dollars. The number of tech startups raising funding in the country also increased in the period under review, from two in 2019 to 27 in 2022.
