Between 2015 and 2020, the majority of first-time buyers with LGBTQ sexual orientation in the United States identified as white. The smallest share of White/Caucasian home buyers by sexual orientation in this period was 82 percent who were bisexual. Asian/Pacific Islander homebuyers held the smallest share of first-time buyers across all sexual orientations.
