Figures are based on purchases of companies in foreign countries by Chinese multinational enterprises (MNEs). Excluding purchases of foreign affiliates owned by Chinese MNEs by another Chinese MNE. Purchases of Chinese affiliates by foreign domestic firms are deducted from the value.
