A 2022 survey conducted in the U.S. found that the top reason to keep watching subscription video-on-demand services was a low subscription cost, according to 73 percent of respondents. A further 61 percent of people interviewed responded that a large content variety was the deciding factor for them, making this the second most popular reason for U.S. consumers to keep their favorite SVOD service.
