Wine production by region Germany 2023

In 2023, the region Rheinhessen was the highest-yielding wine-growing region in Germany, with around 2.5 million hectoliters of wine produced in the wine-growing region between Worms and Mainz in 2023. The second-largest wine producing region in Germany was the Pfalz with around 2.4 million hectoliters produced in 2023. Both regions saw a slight decline in their wine production compared to 2022.
