As of 2020, German employers belonging to the top 1,000 companies of the country were more keen on transferring all recruiting-related activities to an internal recruiting department in their own company, with more than two-thirds of surveyed employers opting for this solution. As for IT companies in Germany, about 13 percent of them were acceptant of putting external service providers (i.e. headhunters, personnel consultants) in charge of recruiting suitable employees in 2020.
