Brand loyalty in personal care and home hygiene in Japan varied significantly depending on product type as revealed in a survey conducted in January 2022. A majority of over 55 percent of respondents reported to always purchase the same brand of shampoo. In contrast, disinfectants showed a lower re-purchase rate with less than nine percent of respondents remaining with the same brand.
