In 2022 and 2023, the most popular cars in Finland were estimated to be sport-utility vehiclesm amounting to some 25,500 sales in 2023. Medium cars were more popular than SUVs in 2022, but the balance is estimated to have changed in 2023, with sales of medium cars dropping under 24,000 units. Luxury cars, with less than 1,000 sales, were the least popular car segment in the country.
