TikTok, the world's most downloaded mobile app, saw a year-over-year decrease of 22.8 percent in downloads in 2021. By comparison, Instagram's app downloads increased by 8 percent. Meanwhile, the Facebook mobile app reported 23 percent fewer downloads than in the previous year.
