Number of athletes actively engaging in team sports 2020/21, by age group

In the sports season of 2020/21, more than 47 thousand athletes aged 12 to 17 years were actively engaged in team sports. This count was the highest, compared to the other age groups. People between the ages of 18 and 24 years followed, with over 12 thousand athletes. In contrast, among people aged 61 years or older, the number of active athletes was the lowest, at 112 people.
