The bank reported total GHG emissions of 519,818 tonnes of CO2 equivalent. The other leading French bank, Crédit Mutuel Group, reported the second highest volumes of emissions among the largest European banks, with 382,976 tonnes of CO2 equivalent.

This statistics has been compiled by Statista using the environmental reporting from the banks. The selection of banks is based on the largest banks in Europe, by total assets. There were no available data for Crédit Agricole Group. ING Group is among the top 15 largest bank in Europe by total assets, but has been excluded from this statistic due to different reporting standards.
