Indian online food delivery platform Swiggy is increasingly betting on quick commerce. In 2020, the company launched its cloud store chain Instamart. By the end of 2021, the service was operating in over 18 cities across the country, with more than two million transacting users and an average of one million orders handled weekly. In addition, in December of that year, the company announced a total investment of 700 million U.S. dollars in its q-commerce vertical.
