In 2024, the ordinary revenue budget of J.League's management body from broadcasting rights fees was estimated to amount to 20.86 billion Japanese yen, making it the main source of income. The J. League represents Japan's professional soccer circuit and is divided into three divisions (J1, J2, J3). J. League matters are handled by J. League Inc., a company and governing body for professional soccer in Japan which was newly formed in 2020 with the merger of multiple companies.
