Main organic arable crops in Africa 2019
Organic oilseed plantations in Africa occupied some 184 thousand hectares, the largest area among arable crops cultivated in the continent. Textile crops and cereals followed, each distributed over an area of 86 thousand and 74 thousand hectares, respectively. Nearly one-third of Africa's organic agricultural land was used for arable crop cultivation.
