According to a survey that was conducted in Japan in January 2021, around 61 percent of the responding businesses stated that the quality of cultivated crops in horticulture and plant factories that used artificial light improved due to the introduction of smart systems and tools. Reduced amount of work followed, with a share of about 48 percent.
