Netherlands: online access 2020-2022, by device

In 2022, approximately around 89 percent of online users in the Netherlands were accessing the internet with a mobile phone or smartphone, up by two percent compared to the previous year. Between 2020 and the end of 2021, internet access via tablet devices also experienced an increase, with 51.6 percent of users reporting going online using these types of devices in the last measured year. However, the share of users accessing the internet via tablet regressed to 49.1 percent in 2022, a share lower than the one recorded in 2020.
