With 50.7 billion registered user sessions, Amazon Shopping was the most used shopping app globally in 2021. Walmart's app followed, recording nearly 25 billion sessions as of November of that year. The apps of Chinese e-commerce platforms Taobao and SHEIN ranked third and fourth, with 14.4 billion and 11.6 billion sessions, respectively.
