Most used purchasing channels for buying luxury items China 2021, by consumer age
According to a survey among Chinese luxury shoppers in October 2021, about 88 percent of China's Gen-Z high luxury spenders (who spent at least 40 thousand yuan a year on luxury items) purchased luxury items via both online and offline channels. Nearly a quarter of luxury shoppers above 25 years said they only buy luxury goods in stores, while only 11 percent of Gen-Z consumers said the same.
