Attendance at grassroots sport events pre-COVID in Canada 2021, by location

A survey of sports fans and participants in Canada in May 2021 revealed that 36 percent of sports fans attended local grassroots sporting events prior to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Meanwhile, four percent of sports fans attended national grassroots sports events before COVID-19, and 49 percent did not attend any grassroots sporting events.
