A survey conducted in March 2020 on when Singaporeans could retire compared to their parents found that 55 percent of respondents were of the opinion that they would only be able to retire from their main occupation later than their parents. In comparison, 12 percent of respondents stated that they would be able to stop working entirely earlier than their parents.
