Between 2018 and 2020, global downloads of the Meta Quest mobile app for Meta's popular VR headsets experienced a moderate but constant increase, before doubling in 2021. In 2022, the Meta Quest app reached 10 million downloads from users worldwide, up by over 32 percent from the previous year. In 2023, the app saw yearly downloads decrease to approximately seven million worldwide.
