According to an August 2021 survey conducted among consumers in the United States, 54 percent of respondents said they felt favorable towards personalization in advertising. IoT devices were seen as favorable marketing technology by 53 percent of responding consumers. At the same time, Virtual reality gained the largest favorability among U.S. consumers, at 61 percent.
