Reason for owning unused clothing in Japan 2021
The majority of Japanese consumers owned fashion items that were almost never worn as revealed in a survey conducted in July 2021. The leading reason for owning unused clothes was that they did not fit the owner's style, with over 37 percent. Only 27.5 percent of respondents did not have any clothing that was almost new.
