A survey conducted in July 2023 revealed that around two thirds of surveyed Australian online shoppers purchased more than one direct brand in the last 12 months, including 13 percent of shoppers purchasing at least four different direct brands. According to the source, a direct brand is a brand that sells goods entirely or primarily through digital channels owned and operated by this brand and must meet certain criteria to be considered 'direct to customer'.
