The majority of Japanese consumers showed aversion towards buying second-hand clothes as revealed in a survey conducted in July 2021. More than 25 percent of respondents stated that they were very averse to the thought of buying second-hand fashion items, whereas only around nine percent stated to have no aversions at all.
