In 2020, the production volume of spectacle lenses in China reached approximately 1.6 billion pieces, an increase from around 1.44 billion in 2016. This upward trend is expected to be slowed, and in 2025, the production volume is estimated to be around 1.63 billion pieces. The share of resin lens production is also growing, pushing glass lenses gradually out of fashion.
