Share of alcohol consumption in Algeria 2016, by type of beverage
Beer was the most consumed alcoholic beverage in Algeria as of 2016, accounting for 57 percent of the recorded alcohol consumption. Wine followed, making up 25 percent of the total. On the other hand, spirits represented 18 percent of the alcohol consumption in the country.
