Tanzania's visa openness to African visitors 2021
As of 2021, Tanzania offered visa-free access to visitors from 16 African countries, namely Botswana, Eswatini, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles, South Africa, The Gambia, Uganda, and Zambia. For 25 other African countries, visa was issued upon arrival, while visitors from 12 African nations were required to apply for a visa before travelling to Tanzania.
