As of June 2021, most of the selected banks operating in the United Kingdom received a relatively high score for their environmental reporting, meaning that they reported their environmental impact and they had targets to reduce it. In fact, nine of the savings account providers considered scored 19 or more in environmental reporting, on a scale between 0 and 25. On the other hand, the Durham-based bank Atom Bank ranked the lowest, with a score of only five points.
