Almond production in the United States has fluctuated from year to year, but has generally increased from marketing year 2000/2001 to 2021/2022. In 2000/2001, the U.S. produced about 677 million pounds of almonds and grew to over four times this amount, equaling more than 2.9 billion pounds of almonds in 2021/2022.
