UK children confidence as an internet user 2020

As of February 2020, 46 percent of children in the United Kingdom said that they were very confident internet users, whilst 49 percent said that they were fairly confident. Furthermore, just 1 percent reported that they were not very or not at all confident as an internet user. Additionally, 49 percent of boys described themselves as very confident internet users compared with 43 percent of girls. Confidence as an internet user also increased with age, as 39 percent of respondents in the 12 year old age group said that they were very confident compared to 51 percent who were 15 years of age.
