Google's "Loretta" and Amazon's "Before Alexa" Super Bowl 2020 ads tied as most expensive Super Bowl commercials ever as of January 2021, with a cost of 16.8 U.S. million dollars. 84 Lumber's "The Journey Begins" and Ford's "Go Further" Super Bowl 2017 ads both came in second with a cost of 16.2 million dollars, while Chrysler's "America's Import" Super Bowl 2014 ad rounded out the top three with a cost of 16 million.
