UK adults who experienced online harms 2020, by time spent online

An online survey conducted in the United Kingdom in February 2020 found that 53 percent of adults experienced potential online harm when having used the internet for two hours or less on a weekday. Of respondents who used the internet for ten hours or less, their experience of harm increased to 75 percent for weekdays and 72 percent for weekends. For adults who used the internet for more than ten hours a day, the likelihood of facing online harms dropped to 68 percent for weekdays and 64 percent for weekends.
