Lex TVN is a media term for the Act of August 11, 2021, on the amendment of the Broadcasting and the Cinematography Act. This controversial media law amendment of the Polish Broadcasting Act would result in companies from outside of the European Economic Area not holding more than a 49 percent stake in the country's radio and television stations. On December 18, 2021, the bill was passed via the Sejm.
As of December 20, 2021, approximately 54 percent of Poles believed that media freedom would be threatened as a consequence of this bill.
