Ireland: children on feeling safe online 2020

A study conducted in Ireland in October 2020 asked children about how safe they felt when using the internet. Overall, 85 percent of respondents reported feeling safe on the internet and 65 percent said that they found other people on the internet kind and helpful. Additionally, nine percent of respondents said that they talk about personal things online which they do not talk about with people in face-to-face situations.
