As per the results of a survey on Indian food services and cloud kitchen conducted by Rakuten Insight in August 2021, about 59 percent of respondents aged 25 to 34 years have ordered food from virtual restaurant or cloud kitchen with the value dropping to 28 percent among respondents age above 55 years.

Survey question: Have you ordered food from a virtual restaurant or cloud kitchen-only business? (i.e. the business does not have a dine-in space and only operates through food delivery apps and cooks its food in a cloud kitchen space)
The survey was conducted among:
21,334 respondents aged 16 to 24 years old,
11,340 respondents aged 25 to 34 years old,
4,184 respondents aged 35 to 44 years old,
1,661 respondents aged 45 to 54 years,
816 respondents aged 55 years and above.
