As per the results of a survey on Indian food services and cloud kitchen conducted by Rakuten Insight in August 2021, about 49 percent of respondents aged between 25 and 34 years had heard of and knew about virtual restaurant and cloud kitchen. Meanwhile, the value dropped to 21 percent among respondents aged above 55 years.

21,334 respondents aged 16 to 24 years old,
11,340 respondents aged 25 to 34 years old,
4,184 respondents aged 35 to 44 years old,
1,661 respondents aged 45 to 54 years,
816 respondents aged 55 years and above.
